Rukou reads the fine print

Agents using Rukou have complete, interactive access to webpages. They are able to do everything a human would on the internet.

Often, agents sent to research pricing miss key details because they're not fully able to interact with webpages. Rukou lets agents click through everywhere, complete pricing configurations, check shipping costs, and read the fine print before returning results or completing a purchase.

Our agents ran a price-checking exercise with and without Rukou.

$52,350: Configuration options raise a bulk order price estimate by over 50%

Customer request: “Estimate 50 Dell Pro 14 Plus laptops with Windows 11 Pro, 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Will a $100,000 hardware budget cover them?”

Result without Rukou:

The agent uses an unspecified search engine to navigate to a listing for one Dell Pro 14 Plus Laptop and reads a price of $1,878.00. Opening the web page at dell.com fails. Further search results do not establish a quote for the selected configurations. The agent concludes its search with no solid answer but a strong suggestion that $100,000 should cover the 50 laptops.

Result with Rukou:

The agent navigates to Google.com, searches for one Dell Pro 14 Plus Laptop, and opens the webpage at dell.com. The Dell configurator begins at $1,878 for 16 GB / 512 GB. Rukou selects the requested configuration and accepts the site’s linked changes. The resulting displayed price is $2,925 for 32 GB / 1 TB QLC, with Windows 11 Pro selected.

Dependency check: the SSD option displayed a $250 upgrade, but its confirmation included $27 more for support, making the applied change $277. Capturing a component price alone missed a dependency.

Decision: The configured estimate exceeds the illustrative budget. An agent cannot approve it using the starting price.
